8/8/2008

Today, 9th of August, 2008.

In our Burmese community, we celebrated a ceremony  for our very dark day which is 8888.
I would say not more than 150 people attended to this event. Some  were with full of emotions, some with hopes, of course some with  hopeless. I am really sure that every one in  this community  were looking forward  to see something changing happened in Burma that day.
But unfortunately, after 20 years of sacrifices there was nothing changed. Military  ruling is still remained firmly on the ground. Democracy is still failing in Burma.
Why, Why, Why?
There are a lot of Why?s  in peoples mind, same as mine. In my head, as far as I know, the reason of that Why is Bluffing.
Yes, Bluffing, we were bluffed with Military government for 20 years with trying hard  as a patriot. We spoke many words, we have been shouted  extremely , but we did nothing apart from words. Finally, Mr Than Shwe and his mates are immune of these words.

Now we should realise that we need to do more, need to put more effort on  our works.

I would like to urge every burmese people, who believe that place is their home, to be united and to work together for good effect.

In Burma, our next generations are being rubbish, being useless day by day. After 20 years, we will be the citizens of world poorest country in the world if we can not change the situation in Burma.

Please think  of our land and heritages.

Please think of the future for the beautiful lives.

Please work hard.
